DON’T DO LIFE ALONE

They are your key to developing healthy relationships with those who share your interests, or people who are dealing with similar life issues.

Groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your walk with God.
Groups meet in homes, businesses, restaurants, or other locations throughout the city. These groups change at different times during the year, so you have the opportunity to explore different groups and you can join a group at any time. You’ll never fully experience all Journey’s Crossing has to offer until you connect in a Group!

Let us help you find a group.

SMALL GROUPS

Small groups are weekly gatherings of about 5-15 people that meet in homes, coffeeshops, restaurants, and the great outdoors.

They exist to provide a place where you can make friends, follow Jesus, and make a difference.
We have groups that study the Bible, others that play sports, some built around serving the community, while still others gather around the dinner table. Wherever you are in life and in your spiritual journey, we have a group for you.

Questions About Groups

Is Childcare Provided?
Not all Groups offer childcare, but there are options available. Some Group members share the responsibility of watching the kids, split the cost for a sitter, or make other arrangements. Let us know if you would like to join a Group with a childcare option.
What will my Group do?
It depends on the kind of Group you choose. Some Groups serve on the same team at church. Other Groups study the Bible together. And some get together to enjoy a shared interest, such as basketball, Jeeps, or video games. Find all the Group options here.
How long is the Commitment to the Group?
Our groups usually run for three months (as we know that interests change along with schedules). While we encourage you to commit to the three-month time-frame in order to give relationships a chance to grow, feel free to visit as many as you’d like until you find one that fits you.
Where do Groups Meet?
Groups meet in homes, restaurants, or coffee shops. Some Groups meet to ride bikes or go for a hike. We can help you find a Group near you and based on an activity you’re interested in.
How often do Groups meet?
That is entirely up to the group leader. Some groups meet once a week, others meet every other week, and some are just once a month! The leader will make all group members aware of the schedule (and the schedule will also be posted in the /groups booklet).

Lead A Group

You know as much as anybody that it’s important to be connected. That’s one reason you’re part of Journey’s Crossing.

We know it’s hard to connect with others and build lasting friendships. We know that even defining community is tough because being in community is more than showing up for Bible study. It’s also sharing food, laughing till it hurts, and doing what you love to do with your favorite people.

What if you could help more people find and enjoy that kind of laughing, caring, and growing community. You can. Here’s how:
