DON’T DO LIFE ALONE
They are your key to developing healthy relationships with those who share your interests, or people who are dealing with similar life issues.
Groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your walk with God.
Groups meet in homes, businesses, restaurants, or other locations throughout the city. These groups change at different times during the year, so you have the opportunity to explore different groups and you can join a group at any time. You’ll never fully experience all Journey’s Crossing has to offer until you connect in a Group!
Let us help you find a group.
Small groups are weekly gatherings of about 5-15 people that meet in homes, coffeeshops, restaurants, and the great outdoors.
They exist to provide a place where you can make friends, follow Jesus, and make a difference.
We have groups that study the Bible, others that play sports, some built around serving the community, while still others gather around the dinner table. Wherever you are in life and in your spiritual journey, we have a group for you.

Lead A Group
You know as much as anybody that it’s important to be connected. That’s one reason you’re part of Journey’s Crossing.
We know it’s hard to connect with others and build lasting friendships. We know that even defining community is tough because being in community is more than showing up for Bible study. It’s also sharing food, laughing till it hurts, and doing what you love to do with your favorite people.
What if you could help more people find and enjoy that kind of laughing, caring, and growing community. You can. Here’s how:

|Christian Essentials||Tuesday||Evening||Biblical Study||Germantown-Darnestown||Journey's Crossing|
Leader: William Mueller
What are some ways you can live out your faith in the world that we live in? Are there essentials that can help you do that? In our group we will spend some time looking at essentials that will help us navigate the Christian Life.
Join us on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm at Journey's Crossing for a time of input and interaction.
Leader: Bill Mueller
What would you say is essential to the Christian life? Is it adherence to religious activities you think are important to God like attending church services, volunteering, participating in rituals like baptism or communion, or following a long list of "thou shall nots"? The Apostle John would argue that these things are merely excess activities—they're not the true essence of Christian living.
So then, what is the essence of Christianity? It includes knowing undoubtedly that you're in an intimate relationship with God, being capable of loving the unlovable, experiencing unspeakable joy in all circumstances, being available to God working through you.
Once we peel away all the excess activities we tend to cling to, we can experiencethe intimacy, assurance, joy, and fulfillment that comes with Christian living the way God intended.
Leader: Denise Tonelli Brock
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Don't go through separation or divorce alone.
Divorce can be hard and painful. But it's a lot easier when you go through it with others and know that God has your back each step of the way. That's what we do in this group, using a program of study that has proven effective in helping people navigate separation and divorce. Men and women are invited.
Meetings are on Monday, 7pm at Journey's Crossing, starting September 30
Please contact me if you need childcare.
