Recently Moco lifted a few restrictions during this pandemic that enables us to begin re-opening in-person gatherings so we are now offering some additional opportunities for those who are ready. And don’t worry, if you aren’t ready or comfortable with meeting in-person we will also continue all of our programming for you, your family and friends and neighbors! Here is a quick lineup of what we are providing each Sunday.

ONLINE VIRTUAL LOBBY: Miss seeing faces and hanging out before and after service? Now, you can join do that each week at 9 and 11 am! Follow the link to the virtual lobby at journeyscrossing.org/watch to participate in a group chat with others. You can participate using any device with a webcam, microphone or keyboard and connect with others through video, audio or texting or just hangout and enjoy meeting old and new friends. At 9:15 and 11:15 you can watch the service together and then head back to the lobby to chat some more.

ONLINE SERVICES: We will continue to provide the entire worship service each week for adults, kids and youth. Adult services happen at 9:15 am and 11:15 am, kids at 9:00 am and youth at 11:15 am.

IN-PERSON SERVICES: Beginning this Sunday, October 18th, we are also hosting in-person worship experiences at 11:15 for adults and a separate in-person service for kids (kindergarten through 5th grade only) at the building located at 12900 Cloverleaf Center Drive in Germantown. Every Sunday evening at 5:00PM, middle and high school students are invited to join an in-person experience designed just for the them!

The adult services will include live music, a live host and touch-free communion along with video teaching on the big screens. The live Kid’s Church and Sunday evening Youth Groups will include teaching, activities and music in a safe, socially distanced setting.

Please note, we are following county and CDC guidelines for all in-person experiences by implementing social distancing and regular temperature checks for all volunteers and workers. All in-person events are “touch-free” and require masks – you will not be permitted in the building without a mask. In addition, the faculty will be properly cleaned before and after each experience and hand sanitizer stations will be plentiful through the faculty. The capacity is limited for each gathering so we ask that you pre-register for each experience, kids, youth and/or adult so we make meet safely and follow county guidelines.

Please do not come if you’ve recently been feeling unwell, have a fever or symptoms of cough or congestion. To protect the safety of others please stay home and enjoy the online services until you feel better.

Again, we recognize that many are not yet ready for in-person gatherings and that’s ok. For those ready to begin meeting in-person we want to provide opportunities that follow the county guidelines. Please remember that everyone must wear a mask while attending, that social distancing between family units who live together must be at least six feet a part and due to space limitations and for contact tracing programs we must insist that everyone pre-registers for every experience each week.
