WE STARTED THIS CHURCH FOR OUR FRIENDS WHO DIDN’T LIKE CHURCH.
Journey’s Crossing is for anyone who wants to seek God – from those exploring whether or not God even exists, to committed Christ-followers. We present biblical truths and show how they apply to our everyday lives. And we have a lot of fun while doing it. Here’s the deal, Journey’s Crossing cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Journey’s Crossing is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
WHERE WE COME FROM
Journey’s Crossing was started in 2001 by a group of friends. Even back then, these friends imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone – where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. Journey’s Crossing hosted its first gathering in late 2001.
Where we’re headed
What’s the bottom line? More than ever, Journey’s Crossing is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.

Most importantly, you’re always welcome at Journey’s Crossing. We’re saving a seat for you. Wherever you’re at in your faith journey, you’ll always be accepted as part of the JC family. At Journey’s Crossing, you won’t be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation. No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have, our church is a place where you’ll find the grace, mercy, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone. JCYouth
JCYOUTH is where your student can belong. Our ministry for 6th-12th graders gives students a fun place to connect with God and others, so they will lead the next generation of the church and change the world.
JCKids
Your kids are important to us, so we’ve created a place for them to learn about Jesus on their level. Every Sunday, all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

Why the Name?
A Journey speaks of movement, a quest, a pilgrimage, and life. All of life is a journey that is filled with ups, downs, obstacles and triumphs. We feel that each of those steps along the way is best interpreted through the filter of a loving creative God who sent His Son and gave His Word so that we would know how to deal with the bumps in the road. But this journey was never intended for us to travel alone – it’s all about relationships (as opposed to organized religion) and spiritual growth happens as our lives intersect at Crossings with God and others in Biblical community.

Our Mission & Strategy
We exist to meet people where they are and help them find and follow Jesus in 3-D. We create experiences, foster relationships and provide resources to help you pursue God and DEPEND on Him, to build community that’s DEVOTED to one another and be DEPLOYED to unleash compassion by serving in our homes, neighborhoods and around the world.
WHAT IS JOURNEY’S CROSSING?
It is a safe place. A faith community where you can feel safe to discover what God desires for you on the journey of life– a real place for real people!
It is an encouraging place. It is a place where people are accepted in an atmosphere of love and grace, where people share their hearts and resources and support each other through the ups, downs, obstacles, joys, triumphs, pleasures, and sometimes, pain of life.
It is an exciting place. God is doing great things through our lives as we work together and make a difference in our neighborhoods and world. It’s a great place to invite your friends-even those who’ve never been to church before!
It is a life-changing place. Above all we hope you can grow here at your own pace and discover the boundless grace of God and His offer of a great life now and forever.
It is a diverse place. Journey’s Crossing is an independent, non-denominational Christian Church. The people here come from a variety of backgrounds but we have found oneness in Christ. Whether you are just starting your journey or are coming back, we hope you will find others like you with an open heart and a warm welcome.
