Deeper life

Are you ready to grow deeper?

Then you've come to the right place!  Here at Journey's Crossing, we believe that being a Christian is so much more than going to church on Sundays.  It's more than attending a weekly small group and more than tithing every week.  Don't get us wrong, those things are important too, but we believe that being a Christian means continually cultivating your relationship with God, with others, and with the world we live in.  That's why we've created the Deeper Life Community and Courses.

We have designed a series of 4-week courses to further explain the concept of the Three C's that Journey's Crossing is built upon: Cultivate, Connect, and Contribute.  Each 'C' is covered in a 4-week course and is set up to be a three-part series. This series is intended to help those who have made a commitment to Journey's Crossing establish an understanding of who we are, what we believe and ultimately to help you begin the journey towards a deep meaningful relationship with God, a biblical connection with our church community and an impactingrelationship with the world. This is an important beginning step to "plugging in" here at Journey's Crossing, so join us for an enjoyable time of discussion, learning and training.  These courses will run year-round, and we encourage you to jump in to one, even if the course has already begun.

Deeper Life Course 101- "Cultivating My Relationship With God.": Learn how to read scripture, pray powerfully, practice spiritual disciplines, and find out how to really grow deeper in relationship with Christ.

Deeper Life Course 102 - "Connecting In My Relationships With Others": Discover what the Bible has to say about the importance of authentic community.  Figure out how to biblically resolve conflict, how to share your life with other people, and grow closer to those in God's family.

Deeper Life Course 103 - "Contributing to Advance God's Kingdom":  Figure out what your unique spiritual gifts are, and how you can use your passions and interests to greatly affect, expand, and make a difference in this world.

All classes are during the 11am service in Room 112.  Please note that registration is not required, but is appreciated.  Registration will become available a few weeks before the course begins.
